Happy Fall, y'all!
Fall at All Saints Valais means it's breeding season. Six of our lovely ewes (F3 and F4) were trailered from our farm in Middle Tennessee to Reproductive Specialty Group in Lebanon, Indiana on October 23rd. It's a 4.5 hour trip each way (a very looooong day!) but we're hoping for the same 100% LAI conception rate we've had for the last two years through RSG's expertise. That yellow spot? It's how the techs mark the ewes that have received their laparoscopic AI prep injections so they don't miss anyone in the hustle and bustle of it all. Thankfully, all went exceedingly well at the clinic and we'll ultrasound in early December for pregnancies. We'll know then how many F4 and F5 lambs to expect in March 2025. We don't accept deposits until the lambs are born and we know what we have to offer -- but do feel free to reach out to us anytime with questions or for advice in preparing your farm for your Valais flock. We're here for you!
